If you have been in a Master/slave relationship for more than a year, you are very much encouraged to consider serving in this capacity as our regional representative Master/slave pair. (For more information about the contest, please visit our "contest" page.) Contestant interviews and presentations are open to all registered attendees of NWLC 2009.

NWLC is committed to providing and promoting education within our community. For NWLC 2009 we have expanded our workshop schedule to include educational seminars and presentations not only on Saturday, but on Sunday, too! Choose from topics with a focus on fostering healthy personal and community relationships, as well as traditional SM topics and our annual open MAsT meeting roundtable discussion.

Our vendor fair has been expanded into Sunday, too! On both Saturday and Sunday you can shop and socialize in air-conditioned comfort in our private 3,000 sq ft vendor room.

On Saturday afternoon join us for a catered sit-down luncheon in honor of our outgoing Northwest Master/slave 2008, Daddy Ken and slaveboy tim of San Francisco.

On Saturday evening, enjoy the 2009 Northwest Master/slave contest pageant and show on stage in the spacious 3,500 sq ft ballroom our elegant host hotel. The show will feature a dazzling performance by the Bay Area's own burlesque troupe, the Twilight Vixen Revue! After the contest/show relax with us at our popular "Cigar & Port" poolside social under the moonlight, or head straight to Edges Community Dungeon to play in the SouthBay's amazing dungeon playspace (advance RSVP or membership required!).

Join us on Sunday for a delicious brunch buffet, featuring a keynote speech plus a surprise or two! After brunch, catch a couple of classes, or just head over to the vendor area and make a few purchases before the weekend is over.

Register early and save! We want to see as many of you at NWLC 2009 as possible, so we have kept attendee costs low. Take advantage of our early-bird or advance registration package specials and avoid the last minute walk-up fee.

Sponsorships, advertising and other opportunities for active support are also available. We welcome involvement from every group in any way they are willing. Everyone's participation is encouraged because this event is for us all!

NWLC Welcomes the Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus!

Northwest Leather Celebration proudly welcomes the SVGMC to Saturday Evening's Contest and Show. SVGMC is pleased to perform the National Anthem during the presentation of Colors.

ABOUT THE SILCON VALLEY GAY MEN'S CHORUS:
The Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus (SVGMC) was originally called the Liedermann Gay Men's Chorus of San Jose and was formed by a group of ten men in 1983. The chorus sang its first full-length performance in 1984 as part of San Jose's Gay Pride Celebration.

The mission of the Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus is to inspire our diverse community through musical excellence and collective pride. SVGMC's vision includes the transformation of our global community through song. SVGMC values the contributions of singers and non-singers to the organization, promotes acceptance, justice and equality for all in the community, and reflects the diversity of our community through our music and membership without endorsing specific beliefs or views. SVGMC supports continual improvement of our singers through individual practice, committed participation and regular attendance while providing a safe haven and fellowship for our members. SVGMC advocates sound organizational structure that includes fiscal solvency, open communication, and strong leadership so that the chorus can better perform with openness, visibility, and pride.

NWLC Proudly Welcomes The Twilight Vixen Revue!

Northwest Leather Celebration is pleased to announce the inclusion of Saturday evening's show!

The Twilight Vixen Revue is San Francisco's Sensational Octet, a dazzling troupe of queer showgirls taking audiences back to a Golden Age with a repertoire of classic Broadway favorites, jazz standards and contemporary favorites delivered with stylized allure. Sharp dancing and exquisite costumes come together in unforgettable line-ups.

Winners of the "Best Burlesque Act in the Bay Area," two years in a row (2007 & 2008), The Twilight Vixen Revue was founded in 2005 by the talented trio of Penny Whistle, Daisy Delight and Cherry Lix. With a belief that in the age of overproduced MTV, there was still beauty in real girls, live production, old fashioned finery and theatrical choreography, they hit the stages and have traveled to entertain audiences throughout the U.S. and Canada. Lest you think these girls are just about the stage, consider this: in the space of 18 months they contributed over $40,000 in shows and services to non-profits and other good causes.

This troupe is characterized by unquestionable glamour and taste, inspired by Busby Berkeley, Bob Fosse, and the Gold Diggers of 1935. Daisy Delight serves as the lead choreographer. Penny Whistle is the primary media contact and theatrical driver. Cherry Lix hand sews and jewels the costumes. The founders are joined by the unsurpassed talents of Lola la Mae, Bella Peppers, Veronica Velvet, Phelia Love, Mimi Demure and their sometime vocalist, Ivanna Spanking.
