Service Branch

Engage in the Community - Challenge yourself
Express Your Abilities

Service Branch returns! This optional program invites attendees to offer or request small acts of service throughout the conference. Whether it’s grabbing water, lending a hand with luggage, or showing off a special service skill, Service Branch creates low-pressure opportunities to connect. Wear a wristband to signal whether you’re providing or receiving service, browse requests on the bulletin board, and meet new people while sharing the spirit of service.

Iron Bootblack

Ten bootblacks enter but only one bootblack will emerge victorious to be named this year’s NWLC Iron Bootblack Tournament Champion!  In addition to those competing for the title of Northwest Bootblack 2026, a battle of the bootblacks unfolds over the course of three days. Our challengers will go head to head in 4 rounds of fun, utilizing their skills and mental acuity. How fast can you lace a boot? Have you ever bootblacked blindfolded? Interested to try? Sign-ups for bootblacks and bootblacking enthusiasts start on Thursday with the first challenge at The Bolt!

Legacy Auction

The Legacy Auction features unique, personal, and sometimes scandalous items donated by our titleholder family themselves. Hosted by the one and only Tomo - equal parts auctioneer, rabble-rouser, and comedy act - this live auction promises big laughs, bold bids, and maybe a little lovingly applied peer pressure. All in the name of raising funds to keep our current titleholders visible, supported, and able to show up for our community in all the ways that matter. So come ready to bid, cheer, and give generously. It’s community. It’s celebration. It’s legacy in motion.
